Not long now till the one of Hekates celebration nights on 16 th November so I thought I would start doing a few posts on this Queen of the Witches, Titan and Greek Goddess, Mother Goddess, Moon Goddess. Worshipped as both Witch and Mother, Torchbearer through the Underworld, Ascender of Souls to the other realms. Hekate she who walks through the shadows and brings the light.

To work with this dual Goddess we must learn that Souls will ascend but only by descending into the shadows of the underworld itself. She teaches us that Ascension is not leaving this world it is learning within the self to bring forth ones fire and capabilities while still interfacing in this world. it's learning to be part of the Earth. we must face the shadows and when we have we must become the light in the darkness for others. We should not be afraid for she will bear the torch till we are ready and then she will pass the torch to us .
