Entering the Realm of Pentacles, the Fool discovers a megalithic quoit with the winter Sun setting between the stones. Below it is a pentacle, set deep into the earth, like a kernel in the ground.
“The Ace of Pentacles is the root of the powers of Earth,” an unseen voice tells him. “It represents the seed of earth energy ready to manifest in the natural world.
“The Pentacle symbolises the macrocosm; it encompasses the five elements of earth, air, fire water and spirit, the five senses and the five life stages. It is a tool that encompasses everything and radiates a magical force which protects but acts in balance with the powers of the Universe.”
The Ace of Pentacles represents a burst of energy in the material world. When it appears reversed, however, it suggests material difficulties which leave you stressed and worried. Perhaps you haven’t been able to get backing for a project, you have lost your job, find that more money is going out than coming in or just that money seems to slip through your fingers. The lack of funds may lead to arguments or perhaps one partner feels that they are carrying the other. Health wise, you are feeling run down or may be struggling to recover from an illness.
