This is a music video I made in 2003 from the opening version of Underground from the 1986 movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie & Jennifer Connelly. This premiered at AWACON that year. It's not an official video, but it simply had to be made. (expand to read more below) I brought it out from my archives to help me reflect on David's recent passing, and to share my small contribution with everyone. I am such a fan of his work and character. I will really miss his continual influence in the world. At least he can always inspire by leaving behind a legacy of performances and thoughtful interviews. I felt the best way to make this Labyrinth music video was to have his song scoring the back and forth tension between Sarah and Jareth. I hope this video serves their story well...with the added presence of Bowie ;-)
