I cannot believe elderly people supporting Thersa May with her policy of Means Testing Winter Heating payments and introducing a death tax on their properties for home care. After all the lifetime of working and National Insurance and Tax payments their house, health and ability for keeping warm in their old age and not having to worry in theit old age, There is the question of grandparents and parents using their properties to assist their families get on the property ladder. Again thiese measures will not hurt the wealthy with their large Health Insurance payments and off shore family trusts, again the rich will be quids in while the rest of us will suffer, The mere fact Theresa May can think of putting this forward facing an election shows she thinks she can walk on water and thinks we are all stupid, unfortunately she may be right. One has to wonder what even worse taxes and withdrawl of benefits she will introduce over the nest 5 years without a strong opposition? These taxes on our health I believe is a measure to force people to take out Private Natural Insurance to look after their health in old age and further Privatisation of our Health Service and following the US.
